Dear PetrolPlaza subscriber,

With more and more sites operating from the cloud, free WiFi, connected EPoS systems, and sensitive user data being in retailers’ hands, petrol stations and convenience stores have become a target for hackers.

Large amounts of financial and sensitive information from customers and retailers flows through a site on a daily basis. Due to the high volume of customers and outdated cybersecurity techniques, fuel dispenser merchants have become an attractive target for hackers wanting to steal credit card information.

In the second episode of PetrolPlaza Talks we will gather industry experts to discuss the need to protect data and implement secure systems to ensure the safe operation of modern, connected energy stations.

The session is free but has limited spaces. Those unable to enter will be able to watch it live on YouTube.

Join Oscar Smith Diamante, Editor-in-Chief at PetrolPlaza, and three industry leaders to discuss the challenges for convenience stores and forecourts to keep hackers at bay.
